Josh Out
Acting class was a great experience this year. I am really looking forward to doing it again in the future. The clas taught me a lot about show business and the struggle of making it as a actor. Everyone one in the class is extremely talented and I felt a little behind everyone as far as my acting abilty and posture on stage.
I tended to keep old habits of slouching and moving around too much when I am not supposed to. This can be fixed by more practice. In all our projects this year I felt I progressed in each play. I feel like ms G and the students really helped me a lot with my skills. I feel like I can take my acting to the next level one day.
I look the part of an actor. I have all the things that are required to be successful. It's now just a matter of time and with the right guidance I can do something special in the industry. I hope to do big things with acting one day.
I challenged myself to be the actor possible. I don't think I really reach my full potential yet. I think I can benefit from more time in acting class and take the class again next year! It has been a great 6 months since we started and I feel like it'll only be better in the future in acting class
I accomplished some of my goals of becoming more vocal and projective. I think this will transfer onto the football field. Acting has helped me make new friends with new people. Acting has been a great experience and I hope to take on with me in my life.

Play Review
The Cheshire Academy comedy I saw Friday night was hilarious. The jokes were about things me and the audience could relate too as young people. It was really funny and I had a great time attending the play. Everyone did a great job in remembering their lines which made each skit enjoyable to watch. I also enjoyed seeing my fellow classmates in the play. John, Jack, Will, and Abbey all did a wonderful job. I really like watching my older pears act and learning from them in the audience. I hope one day I can be as good as there are.
The play was on Friday night. It went late and was very enjoyable for me. I met up with some of my friends and we watched the show together. We enjoyed seeing the people we go to school with acting on stage. The jokes were all about things we as young people can relate to such as Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton or snapcaht or Instagram. It really caught our everyday life as a whole.
My mother was kind of confused in some of the skits but once I explained it to her she found how it is funny to the young generation. The songs were we sung and the dances were well prepared. It was a good show overall. I really enjoyed watching the show. I hope I can act in a Cheshire Acadmey play one day.
The roasts towards teachers were also very funny. Mr Porter and Ms Minahan are 2 of my teacher and they were in attendance of the play. It was very funny. The imitations of the teachers were great too on to how they looked and dressed. Mr Porter and his cats were also very funny and I found it funny how everytime Mr Porter got roasted he would laugh like we all know he does. It was a great pleasure of mine to attend the Cheshire Academy comedy.

Blog 9 Hamilton
In the Hamilton project I am Luarens a man that was Alexander Hamilton right hand man. Laurens has three lines in the rap where he says how he died for Alexander Hamilton, and how he came from nothing to make something from his life. Lauren's has a unique perspective on Alex Hamiltom's life. He was very close to him, and the song features the patron that ended up killing him. Hamiton has been a fun project and I look forward to performing it very soon.
Abbey has done a great job with her project. She keeps us all on task, and focused in acting class. It has been fun and I really look forward to keep my acting career going after this class. I feel that I have a lot of talent in acting. I have the look, and the outgoing attitude that needs to go along with it. I can't really see myself in musical theater. I don't really have a good singing voice. I do however enjoy the Alexander Hamiltom project.
I like the project too. It has been really fun, and exciting to sing. I don't think I have what it takes to pursue singing tonigh. I feel like I don't have the rhythem that is required to sing. I feel like acting class has also helped me with my dancing. Before this class I was very stiff in the hips. Now I feel like I've opened up a bit more. I also feel like the breathing exercises help me when I do stranious exercise.
Our class really likes the project as well. We all talk about it outside of class. Ever time k see John or Will they always ask me if I've been looking at my lines and if I remember the steps in the song. Acting class has been a lot of fun up to this point and I hope to see everyone comitue acting next year.

Individual Proposal
My Acting Propsal
For my individual proposal for our acting project would be a freestyle rap including me coming up with a rap that dished everyone in this class. The disses would be funny and not taken to heart. I would do this for my project becuase it would benefit my acting and improv skills. Freestyle rap is when you come up with rhymes on the spot. It helps with English skills as well as working the brain to come up with rhymes. It would be a fun project because it would involve people in the class. They would think it is funny because I would say goofy things about them.
Freestyle rap would help me become a good actor by improving my vocabulary and coming up with catchy things to say. The beats to freestyle rap are usually already know so a lot of people would enjoy the project. A lot of actors are very intelligent and have very strong minds to memorize all of there lines. I think learning something in a musical way can help me better understand regular lines as well. I believe everyone would enjoy my performance, and think it would be funny.
I would choose to do a rap because I think it would be really fun, like Alexander Hamilton has really fun as well. I liked the Alexander Hamilton rap part so I think a rap would be another good project. The disses I would come up with would be more funny than personal, and no one would take it to heart.
I feel if I were to perform a freestyle rap it would lighten up the black box. It would be funny. John performed a diss before and everyone was laughing a lot. It seemed like something I would try and do for myself.

Inception.
We finished inception today. I felt very confident in my role as Arthur. We got to watch the finished Cheshire Academy productiom of Inception in class today. The film looked really good, and everyone had a good time watching it. The scenes were funny to us because we spotted everyone's flunders. The camera angles could have been better produced. We really couldn't see everyone in the shot sometimes. Also the memorization of lines wasn't as crisp as I would of wanted to be. Overall it was a very fun project and I enjoyed it a lot!
What I could of improved on is my facial expressions and movement. I still look stiff I'm front of the camera and not really comfortable. Which is suprising because in my other projects I have done very well in that, and have not had this problem before. I think it had something to do with the fact that Inception is a hard movie to interpret and there were many scenes where no one was really sure who had the next line because there was no give away in the previous line. I think I looked kind of zoned out on film as well. What I thought looked like intense stares at other characters really looked like dazed and confused beciass of the camera angles. 😂
Overall I think my classmates and I could have benefited from a easier movie to start off with in the beginning of our acting career. But we met the challenge head on and nailed it. My fellow classmates are very skilled and I could tell they put a lot of work into their scenes as did I. We had a lot of fun doing this and I hope all of us stick with acting class in the future so we can really take our skills to the next level one day.

Inception is going good. I memorized all my lines, and I am really feeling confident in my ability to play Arthur in the Cheshire Academy production of Inception. My classmates are also doing a good job with their lines as well. Everyone is doing a good job in the movie. John is doing a great job of producing the movie as well.
I was a little skeptical of playing Arthur in the beginning because I saw he had a lot of lines, and I was not sure if I was going to memorize it all. But I can see now how a movie is different from a life production in the play industry. In the film we are able to shoot one scene a day so all we need to do is memorize that part for that day. This is very convenient.
I see myself now playing Arthur really good. I think I am capturing the flow with how I am talking as Arthur. Arthur is a difficult character to play. He has many different personalities and he seems very confident in each of his scenes. I believe I have the character in my grasp now. I feel that I have come along way since the beginning of acting class and I think you can see that in all of my pieces from the beginning of the year to now.
Inception has been both a hard and real fun project. I really like my role in the film. I feel that I will only improve with my acting skills in the future. My fellow claasmates are doing a great job as well on being professional, and being supportive of the cast. John is doing a great job with producing the Cheshire Academy production of Inception. We had a lot of fun doing this movie!
